Specializing in the development, investment and syndication of tax credits, Gardner Capital works with affordable housing, historic rehabilitation and solar energy projects. The company has primary regional offices located in St. Louis, Dallas, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Springfield, Missouri.
Originally founded by Mark Gardner in 1992 as an affordable housing development company in Missouri, Gardner Capital has since diversified into three divisions – Development, Solar, and Investment. The company currently operates in more than 20 states with 8 office locations nationwide and has invested more than two billion dollars of equity in affordable housing and renewable energy projects.
Following Mark's leadership,
his son, Michael, an attorney who specialized in the LIHTC area during his practice, joined Gardner Capital as president in 2012. The company is now ranked as one of the premier tax credit development, syndication and management firms in the country. Our ability to manage all aspects of a deal creates enormous efficiencies and cost-savings for our clients and partners.
